Update on Aprons

This is a photo of the apron I listed yesterday. Sewing used to be a fun hobby for me, so this is my perfect job. Since the first day I listed last year on February 29th, I've sold 265 aprons! It still delights and surprises me every time I sell one. I have an order for 50 aprons right now. I'm waiting for the fabric to be delivered. A woman who heads a candle company is rewarding her top 50 sales people with an apron I've made. Woo Hoo! I'll post photos when they're done.

I see it's been six months since I've posted. I've been busy. This is my wonderful oldest daughter, Jen's birthday week! She's grown to be one of the most interesting and kind people I know. Happy Birthday sweet Jen!

My Big Fish!!

I caught this King Salmon last weekend on the St. Mary's River. It was in front of the ferry and I was afraid the ferry was going to start across to the island and I was trying to reel it in fast, so Del said, "take it easy, give it some line and let it get tired out" He's so patient. I'm not. So I did what he said and we got it into the boat! It's as much his fish as mine, but don't tell him I said that!

This a the salmon that Delbert caught this morning on the river. It was too cold for me! brrrr I should have went, he would have let me reel it in and claim it as my fish!

Happy Birthday Melanie!

Today is our youngest daughter, Melanie's 28th birthday. Happy Birthday to Mel! She'll be married in October so we'll be going out to California for the wedding. Her fiance is a great guy! Her dad and her are country music lovers. Not me. For the father daughter dance, Melanie sent a few songs to choose from. Any opinions or suggestions?
